Smári Organics.

Fifteen years in CPG started here. He took Smári Organics, Icelandic skyr, to national retail across tens of thousands of stores: Whole Foods, Costco, Kroger, Safeway, Sprouts, HEB, Stop & Shop, and more.

NØRSE CØDE started from a specific problem, not a market opportunity: he couldn’t find a protein powder he felt comfortable giving his own son.

NØRSE CØDE.

Now he is building NØRSE CØDE, a plant protein company self-manufactured in Petaluma, on more than 150 scheduled jobs instead of a bigger team. In a blind taste test, more people chose it than Orgain and Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard combined.

The systems that run it, reporting, retailer follow-up, inventory, margin, were built because he needed them running his own company, not to sell to someone else’s first.

Nordic Navigators.

Nordic Navigators installs those same systems in other CPG brands. The idea underneath it: a seat can be filled with a build instead of a hire. The seats already filled inside NØRSE CØDE, and which ones a person still holds, are on the org chart.

He writes about what actually breaks when a CPG founder hands operations to AI agents, and what to automate first, in Adding Zeroes.
